The spirit of Frank Sinatra was very much alive Wednesday night in the restaurant named after "The Chairman of the Board" at Steve Wynn's Encore. Sinatra will be even more so Dec. 12, "Ol' Blue Eyes' " birthday, when CBS airs a two-hour special from Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas with stage and audience filled with superstars who were friends, colleagues and co-stars.
It will be one of the largest-ever gatherings of stars and musicians in Las Vegas. For now, I can tell you that Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga will perform at the Sinatra salute to be produced and directed by Ken Ehrlich, who has Celine Dion's new show at Caesars Palace that includes a Frank Sinatra hologram.
