A global exhibit showcasing newly-built works based mostly on the sketches of Leonardo DaVinci opens in Seattle on Saturday. The touring exhibit will probably be housed within the Museum of History and Industry till Jan. 2 for its West Coast premiere.
DaVinci was an inventor, artist, sculpture and extra, however the items within the exhibit weren’t constructed by him. They have been recreated by Italian artists from his sketches. About 60 wood innovations line the partitions of the exhibit and hold from the ceiling. Some even have labels welcoming patrons to the touch them, transferring handles and levers to see how they work.
