Eataly, as many of you know, is Mario Batali, Joe Bastianich, and Lidia Bastianich's Italian megastore/restaurant hub/Nutella haven that started in Torino, spread to New York's Flatiron District, and later opened in Chicago. Well, now that apotheosis of Italian cuisine is coming to the West Coast.
Although it's not set in stone, it's likely that an Eataly location will be opening at Westfield Century City in Los Angeles sometime in 2017. According to Racked, Westfield, the gigantic megamall that's undergoing a huge renovation, recently signed a lease with Eataly to build the new location by 2017.
