In the classic 1950 Hollywood film “Sunset Boulevard,” the Isotta Fraschini driven by actress Gloria Swanson played a crucial part in her character Norma Desmond’s acting comeback. The iconic car also helped re-create the world of silent film stars that the film was set in.
On Thursday, some 13 automobiles of that Italian motor brand graced Ocean Avenue in Carmel after making the 70-mile journey that makes up Classic Car Week’s Tour d’Elegance.
