As SF Design Week kicks off today – a week in which the Italian Republic is also celebrating its 70th anniversary – I am glad to report that work from a fantastic collaboration between Milan- and California-based design teams will be on display throughout the city this week.

The initiative is called High Up. Graphic Design Around Town and consists of billboards and bill-posted in strategic urban locations around San Francisco. In a show of amazing inter-cultural collaboration across the pond, the same urban beautification took place in Milan during its design week back in April. Now, lucky San Franciscans will enjoy this guerrilla art around the city for their design week.
