Property owners and civic leaders in Little Italy say growth in their blossoming community will be stifled by stricter development restrictions approved this month by the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority.
The restrictions, which the airport authority updated for the first time in 22 years on April 3, aim to boost safety in neighborhoods underneath the Lindbergh Field flight path by limiting residential and commercial development.
