A single father has revealed how he nearly lost everything after his wife died in his arms leaving him to look after their young daughter alone. Daniele Bolelli's, 41, who was born in Milan but lives in California, described how his career took a financially-damaging nose dive and he had to fight to keep his house.


The Italian-American university professor opened up to FEMAIL about 'avoiding shooting himself' when his world was turned upside down - and how he learnt to live in a new, fearless way. Daniele Bolelli's wife Elizabeth was just 36 when she passed away in 2011 after being diagnosed with a brain tumour.
