An Italy-based maker of filters for agriculture, heavy machinery, forestry and industrial businesses plans to open a facility in central Indiana that will serve as its North American headquarters. Filtrec plans to spend $1.3 million to establish the facility in Daleville in Delaware County, creating 25 high-wage jobs by the end of 2022.
The office of Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb announced the plans Thursday in Milan during the governor's three-day economic development trip to Italy. The plant will help Filtrec expand its market in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Latin America, it said.
