The Italian Trade Agency pulled together a representation of what was undoubtedly some of the best Italian menswear and accessories for the Chicago Collective last week. But of course, because they’re Italian, the presentation went way beyond fabulous fashion to include a true lifestyle statement.
Each day, the ITA lounge became a bustling scene, offering good strong Italian espressos in the morning and a perfectly delightful apertivo in the afternoon. On Monday evening, Italian exhibitors and some of the nation’s finest retailers gathered for a festive party at The Bassment, a fantastic underground live music club just three walking blocks from The Merchandise Mart.
