Cossetta's plans a 500-person event center in a next-door property in the latest expansion by the St Paul Italian restaurant. The Pioneer Press has the details on the plan, which will expand the restaurant's already-busy catering operation, Cossetta Eventi, currently housed in the building next to the restaurant on West Seventh Street.

That building will be renovated to include two banquet rooms and a bar and reception area. It's the latest expansion for the restaurant, which went through a major renovation in 2013 and added a carry-out rosticceria last year.
