It looks as though we're one step closer to roaming Eataly's pasta-filled aisles right here in Boston. Boston Restaurant Talk reported last week that Mario Batali, owner of the Manhattan-based emporium, tweeted that Eataly was "very close" to securing a Boston location.
Back in 2013, the Boston Globe reported that the Italian food emporium with restaurants, cafes and a gourmet market, could be coming to the Boston area. At the time, the Globe noted that the Eataly teamed showed interest in Faneuil Hall as well as a few buildings in Back Bay.
