Station group owner Greater Media says Rob Williams is leaving his position as vice president and market manager of the company's Boston radio properties. His last day will be Friday, Aug. 21. He will be replaced by Mary Menna. Williams, who has been commuting from Connecticut to Boston since he joined the company in 2012, has accepted another opportunity closer to his home.
"We are grateful for the many contributions Rob has made over the past several years in Boston and wish him the best," said Greater Media Chairman and CEO Peter Smyth. Smyth added, "Mary has done an outstanding job as general manager of Magic 106.7 [WMJX] over the past year. "We look forward to her taking our entire Boston cluster to the next level and beyond."
