The Columbian Lawyers Association held its annual installation ceremony at Leonard’s Palazzo in Great Neck on Thursday. The organization installed its new board members, gave farewell presentations to its outgoing board members, presented the Saint Francis of Assisi/Mother Cabrini Award, and welcomed incoming president, Ida Como.
Hon. Joseph Risi, Judge of the Court of Claims and Acting Justice of the Supreme Court, was the evening’s guest of honor and swore in the organization’s new officers. “I give credit, thanks, and my gratitude to this association to keep these wonderful traditions alive to be shared whether or not you have any Italian blood flowing in your veins,” Risi said.
