For many years Italian business, including Europe, has been misunderstood. This has been changing since 2013 thanks to the annual event by Italian Business & Investment Initiative, held at New York. The event convenes leaders from Italian, European and American business, government, NGO and academic communities for lively and impactful conversations dedicated to fostering economic diplomacy between the United States and Europe.
Each year this event brings together around 300 representatives of the 2 countries. The CEO, Fernando Napolitano discusses the nature of this important event: ‘It is without a doubt the biggest event that is dedicated to Italy outside our own borders. Business leaders participate in the Summit to discuss the opportunities and challenges of the Italian business and economy, as well as to share the success stories of US operators who have invested in Italy.’
