If there's one thing Italians know better than fashion, it's food, so it's only natural that Marco Baldassari, the CEO and co-founder of Eleventy, uses a culinary analogy to describe his clothing brand. "We are like a bistro that offers an innovative cuisine," said Mr. Baldassari, "but without the price of a gourmet restaurant."
True to his word, Eleventy, launched in 2007 as a small collection of polo shirts, won't leave you with a case of bank-account bellyache; offering youthful twists on classic refined Italian style, its pieces are indeed relatively affordable.
