Italian lighting brand Foscarini has opened a store in New York's SoHo neighborhood, its first stand-alone showroom outside of Italy.
In addition to showcasing its lighting in the 3,500-sq.-ft. space, the brand will explore art, culture and design through different installations and artistic pieces.
To start, artist Stefano Arienti has created an art installation titled "Algae," which involves an immersive arrangement of colorful plastic. The store is located at 17 Greene St.
