Palm Beach saw an influx of Italian fashion enter the business scene this season. Handmade sandal shop Via Capri, 34, fine cashmere brand Brunello Cucinelli, women's and men's clothing store Naracamicie and resort-wear boutique Socapri all opened on Worth Avenue. Luxury apparel store Mario Romano Capri opened on South County Road.
Three of the brands came from the island of Capri, Italy. The fourth, Naracamicie, closed its "pop-up" boutique on the first floor of The Esplanade after one season. "This past season the Isle of Capri captivated residents and visitors, bringing a new relaxed elegance," said Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce executive director Laurel Baker.
