Officials with the Worth Avenue Association are calling the first year of Italian Week Palm Beach a success, but they're ready to plan an even more successful week next year. Six days of events celebrated the rich Italian culture in town and raised money for the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York and Il Circolo, also known as the Italian Culture Society of the Palm Beaches. The events ran Feb. 22-28.
"When we first proposed this event it was in order to make Worth Avenue and Palm Beach a destination," said Gregg Beletsky, Worth Avenue Association president.
