The Italian-made Alfa Romeo sports car is headed to Shelbyville Road. Swope Auto Group announced that it had been awarded a dealership by the automaker last month and intends to rename its Sam Swope FIAT in St. Matthews to Sam Swope Alfa Romeo FIAT to reflect the addition.
Swope, the state’s largest auto dealer, becomes the first Louisville dealership to handle the make. A second dealership in Kentucky was awarded to Jake Sweeney Alfa Romeo in Florence.
