Luisa Cevese is a self-taught designer interested in both textile and art. Since1984 she has designed textiles for fashion and interior designers, textile firms and interior and accessories brands such as De Padova, Diego Della Valle, Dolce&Gabbana, Romeo Gigli, Hermès, Chanel, e Comme des Garçons.
In 1996 she founded Luisa Cevese Riedizioni, the brand name of a line of textiles and products made out of the combination of primarily textile industrial waste and polyurethane. Organized by the Italian Cultural Institute in Los Angeles and the Consulate General of Italy in Houston in collaboration with ICCC Houston.
