The United States continues to be the world's leading market for wine, with Italy also playing a key role. One of the fastest growing regions is Oregon, known for producing excellent Pinot Noir. Santa Margherita's growth path fits into this context, having consolidated its presence there through new acquisitions. After acquiring the renowned Roco Winery in January 2022, the company took a further strategic step by acquiring Marsh Estate, a prestigious agricultural property located in the heart of the Dundee Hills.
Marsh Estate sits on 21 acres in the Yamhill-Carlton Wine Country and is already certified under the “Live” protocol for sustainable viticulture in the Pacific Northwest. Situated at 103 feet above sea level, it offers panoramic views of the surrounding hills and is a key asset in strengthening Roco Winery’s presence in the region.
