The Department of Modern Languages & Literatures at Loyola University Maryland is seeking a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor of Italian to teach in the department (4/4 load) and provide service to the department and university beginning fall 2018. Position duties include teaching in the core language sequence (IT 101-104), and 200-level courses as needed, as well as providing service to the department and University.
Required Qualifications: At least an M.A. or equivalent in Italian, native or near-native fluency in Italian and previous experience in college level Italian language instruction. Commitment to the Jesuit mission.
