Congratulations to Rose Carmel Goddard and Miranda Manzo, winners of this year’s FADM Merit Scholarship.  Each of these exceptional young women received $1000 to pursue her studies. Rose Carmel is a University of Michigan Senior majoring in Movement Science in the School of Kinesiology. She is the daughter of Michael and Catherine (Calvano) Goddard. Her Abruzzese heritage is from Alfedena (AQ).

Miranda is a junior at the University of Michigan majoring in Biology, Health and Society. She is the daughter of Tony and Donna (Palombella) Manzo.  Miranda traces her Abruzzese heritage back to Gagliano Aterno (AQ) and Castelvecchio Subequo (AQ).
