Position: Foreign Language Teacher – Italian (Part-Time, .833 FTE)

Location: Roosevelt Middle School, River Forest, Illinois

Starting Date: August 20, 2014

Salary: According to Schedule

Qualifications: a) Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
With a Foreign Language - Italian Endorsement

c) A Master's Degree is preferred

c) Successful teaching experience preferred

Job Duties: The teacher will implement the foreign language program as designed in the curriculum guide for students in grades 5 – 8, Italian. The teacher will work cooperatively with other classroom teachers, the Student Services Team, and support area staff. He/she will be responsible for supervising and managing the class, effectively teaching the curriculum to meet individual needs of children, evaluating individual progress and communicating progress with children and parents.
