The Illinois Sons of Italy Foundation is awarding scholarships to high school seniors who are full or partially of Italian ancestry. The $1,000 scholarships are available to both public and private high school seniors who are soon to be graduates.

Applicants will be selected based on financial need, scholastic achievements, activities in high school showing character and leadership, the applicant's personal essay and faculty recommendations. Applications can be obtained in writing by contacting the Illinois Sons of Italy Foundation, 9447 West 144th Place, Orland Park IL 60462. Include a self-addressed, stamped envelope.
