It was with great joy that Fr. James Mayer, O.de M., Pastor of St. Rocco parish and school in Cleveland, blessed the newly placed building cornerstones on June 5, as major, campus-wide construction projects near completion. School students and staff were on hand to celebrate this important milestone. Thanks largely to a generous donation from Tom Jeckering, and with the support of St. Rocco parishioners, St. Rocco School staff and students are counting down the days until the start of the new school year when they return to the renovated campus.
“The new and improved Saint Rocco School will allow the tradition of almost 100 years of Catholic education to continue for the children of the Clark-Fulton neighborhood. Our updated and contemporary facilities will enable our current and future students to grow academically and spiritually, while learning what it means to be “Crusader Strong!” notes St. Rocco Principal Mrs. Renee Cerny.
