NIAF is proud to congratulate our friend and longtime supporter Dr. Richard Mollica of Harvard Medical School, who has received a lifetime achievement award for Equity, Social Justice and Advocacy from the Harvard Medical School.
NIAF has been working with Dr. Mollica and Harvard Medical School in providing trauma support since the L'Aquila earthquake to deal with the mental health crisis that unfolded in the earthquake region. He was also instrumental in assisting NIAF in constructing a school in Norcia. In short he has been our anchor dealing with the challenges of providing assistance in Italy in a difficult environment.
