
Erin Dolan, a senior from North Kingstown and student at Bay View Academy, earned the Rhode Island Teachers of Italian 2014 Advisory Board Monetary Award for Italian IV, with a cash prize of $300.
This is award is given every year to only one Italian IV or V student and is chosen based on student submitted essays on the topic, "How will the Italian language continue to be a part of my future?" Erin is also a recipient of the Luigi Petrarca Book Award, which is given to five high school students who have maintained an A or A+ average in Italian studies.
