Alessandra Bonito Oliva, napoletana, laurea in psicologia sperimentale e dottorato a Roma e Chicago, ha continuato la sua carriera a Stoccolma dove ha vissuto per cinque anni.
L'amore l'ha portata a New York, dove oggi lavora come ricercatore associato alla Rockefeller University e fa parte di un ristretto team che collabora con la casa farmaceutica Pfizer, per la messa a punto di farmaci per l'Alzheimer.
