The debut event dedicated to Italy's "Black Gold" unfolded from October 31st to November 6th and featured partnerships with prominent restaurants spanning the city, whose chefs dished out original dishes showcasing the Italian staple.
Voted on via the restaurants' social media channels, the winners of LA Balsamic Week 2022 are La Puglia (Wood-fired Sea Scallops marinated in Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI, Parsley, Garlic, and Apulian EVOO), Osteria Mamma ("Nero su Bianco" Risotto with Parmigiano Reggiano aged 23 months, buffalo mozzarella, and Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI) and Angelini Osteria (Scallops with crema di Parmigiano Reggiano, mushrooms and aged Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI). Each winning restaurant will be awarded a generous supply of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI.
