Many Pacificans have their favorite memories about Joe's of Westlake in Daly City. Some recall big family gatherings at the Italian-American eatery. Others recall small but frequent family dinners, where Joe's was the place to go for all occasions or just because. Colleagues often gathered at Joe's for social breaks outside the office.
Everybody had their own favorite meal that they loved time after time. For some Pacificans, Joe's was a place of employment that offered security and comraderie. They will among those most affected when the restaurant closes Jan. 26.
