Italian fare from one of America’s foremost pizza chefs arrives in Napa next week. Chris Bianco, credited with sparking the country’s modern artisanal pizza scene, is behind a new menu at Farm at the Carneros Restaurant & Spa in Napa. The restaurant will reopen on Dec. 8, marking Bianco’s Bay Area debut.
Notably, Farm won’t serve pizza, but it will highlight Italian food with California influences. Bianco took inspiration from Tratto, his fine-dining Italian restaurant in Phoenix, which sources heavily from nearby farms. Carneros grows its own herbs and vegetables in gardens on the upscale 28-acre resort’s picturesque grounds.
