Solunto bakery, a Little Italy landmark since the late 1960s, will undergo a major renovation that will bring house-made gelato, wood-fired pizzas and fine dining to the India Street space.
While the family-run business was sold about six years ago, it remained a bakery and casual eatery in recent years, but owner Antonino Mastellone, a prolific San Diego restaurateur, has decided it's time for a major modernization.
