Construction is underway for the newest pizza joint in Sacramento, more than a year after the New York City restaurant announced its expansion. Pazza Notte Restaurant announced in 2022 that it would open a second location by last spring at 1801 L St. in midtown.

As of Saturday, the inside of the storefront is covered with plastic wrap and paint cans with no update on when the business will officially open its doors to customers. According to a poster taped to the inside of the shop, the East Coast Italian bistro and bar is “coming soon.”
