Mackenzie's Pub in Mendham is gone. In its place since September is the newly imagined Piattino Bistro. Designer David Jackson created focus around a stone-fired oven that produces Neapolitan pizzas, sand-izzas, contemporary hand-made pastas and entrees, and handcrafted desserts.
Woven red leather on the back of studded chairs, red booths, circular chandeliers, and mosaic-tile glass dividers are hallmarks of the Manhattan-inspired decor.
