A Basking Ridge local is bringing Italy to the downtown area of Westfield. Tuscany native Francesco Colbertaldo and Annette Colbertaldo of Basking Ridge are planning on opening Farinolio during the first week of June, the restaurant announced on Facebook Wednesday.
Farinolio will offer an authentic experience and the simplicity of a Tuscan menu filled with unique items from 'schiacciata' to 'brioscia' and tapas. "Living in Italy for 8 years I grew to love Italian cuisine and my favorite food was always the 'schiacciata', a flatbread served in many ways," Colbertaldo, CEO of Farinolio, wrote on Farinolio's Facebook page.
