The Yelp era doesn't allow much room for redemption meals. Restaurant customers served what they consider to be poor, underwhelming meals post their thoughts almost immediately online with few concerns other than their own stomachs and pockets.
Most seem unwilling to give an establishment a second chance, especially if it's deemed unworthy of their time and money. And who can blame them? If I was a Yelper, my first visit to Bella Coast Italian Kitchen & Market in north Wilmington last spring probably would have been a one-and-done meal.
