For 20 years, Bellissimo Restaurant has been serving delicious Italian food to the residents of Fairfax City. "We are a small, cozy, neighborhood restaurant that strives to be a place where people can come, relax and enjoy scrumptious food in a beautiful setting," said Mary Killay Lavayen, who owns the restaurant with her husband Omar and their three children, Patrick, Andrew and Katharine.
Bellissimo Restaurant is one of the 24 restaurants and bars in Fairfax City that will be participating in the 2024 Restaurant Week, which runs from Feb. 26 through March 3. "Restaurant Week is that nudge our residents get twice a year that says dining out is a community event. Trying new restaurants, or trying new offerings at favorite places, is something we can do together and we invite other people to join us too,” said Fairfax City Mayor, Catherine Read.
