Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar has opened its doors in Little Italy. The Canada-based chain specializes in pizza and offers a menu of more than 80 items, including burgers, sandwiches, wings and pasta. Boston’s 14 specialty pizzas include the Florentine (topped with spinach, artichokes, sun-dried tomatoes, roasted garlic, mozzarella and Parmesan); Mama Meata (made with Bolognese sauce and topped with smoked ham, pepperoni, ground beef, spicy Italian sausage, cheddar and mozzarella); and chicken and bacon white (grilled chicken, crumbled bacon, rosemary sage cream sauce, marinated mushrooms, green onions and mozzarella).
The restaurant opened June 12 at 819 E. Pratt St., a space previously occupied by Eagle House and Velleggia’s. Boston’s, which seats about 200, is awaiting its liquor license hearing next Thursday, after which it will house a full-service bar. Until then, the restaurant is allowing customers to bring their own alcohol without corkage fees. Boston’s also has locations in Abingdon and Charles County.
