Carmello's of Historic Manassas, Virginia, was named Best of Virginia for Italian cuisine in the recent issue of Virginia Living Magazine. Carmello's is owned by long-time Historic Manassas resident, Alice Pires.
Their seasonal menus serve a wide variety of American cuisine with Portuguese and Mediterranean influence. Carmello's sources local ingredients, and uses fresh herbs from their backyard garden.
"We're passionate about our customers and our food, and we're honored to be a part of the Best of Virginia," Pires says.
