You may not see the Colosseum, Vatican or Leaning Tower of Pisa when you look out Fiorentina Grill's windows in Trexlertown, but that doesn't mean you aren't transported to Italy while dining there. The 64-seat restaurant, which opened Wednesday at 1106 S. Trexlertown Road, serves an array of authentic Italian dishes — from Naples' Frutti di Mare pasta to the restaurant's namesake, Florence's Bistecca alla Fiorentina steak.
It is the Di Fiore family's third restaurant, supplementing two Mama's Italian Grill eateries — one that opened 26 years ago in Berlinsville and another that opened two years ago in the adjacent Waterside Shoppes strip mall in Trexlertown.
