For over 50 years, the Ajello family has filled Pastosa’s creamy ravioli and their customer’s bellies with the finest ingredients. Whether grabbling a handcrafted specialty sandwich for lunch, a dinner to go or placing a catering order, Pastosa stands ready to serve up culinary delights with old fashioned values and a tradition of quality.
Anthony G. Ajello opened the first Pastosa store in 1966. Ajello’s passion and enthusiasm for fine Italian specialty products were like no other. He was determined to provide his customers not only superior products, but excellent customer service. Ajello’s vision was just what Brooklyn needed and in time, his tiny store became a huge success. Customers would line up out the door to purchase their ravioli and fresh mozzarella.
