Last week, Italian winemaker Giorgio Rivetti spent two days in Scranton officiating at a candlelight winemaker's dinner at the Country Club of Scranton and a presentation for the Electric City Chapter of the American Wine Society.
The opportunity to meet the vintner and experience the wines of his La Spinetta and related producers came to the Electric City through Fred Magnotta, a West Scranton businessman who operates an eponymous boutique wine importing and distribution company.
