Since 2006, Mi Scuzi Restaurant has made quite a name for itself in the realm of high-quality Italian fare in Erie. And complementing its fantastic food is an impressive array of inventive drinks. The restaurant infuses its top-notch vodkas, gins and bourbons with a variety of flavors, including pear, espresso, cherry, Spanish olive, orange, pineapple, blueberry, lemon and cool cucumber.
Owner and Chef Michael Farsace, who bought the place in 2011, said he has a real passion for creating amazing Italian dishes and pairing them with exceptional Italian wines, cocktails and sangrias. Originally from Rochester, New York, he literally grew up in the hospitality trade. "I was always hanging out in the kitchen of my parents' restaurant," he said. "I've just loved the restaurant business ever since I can remember."
