Rita's, famous for its Italian ice and frozen custard, will hold a fundraiser for the Karen Ann Quinlan Home for Hospice at its Sparta store at 25 Centre St., Sparta Theatre Centre, from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20.
"We appreciate this generous offer on the part of the Rita's owner in Sparta, Joe Toscano, to donate a portion of the evening's proceeds," said Glenn Lewis, director of development for the Karen Ann Quinlan Home for Hospice Capital Campaign.
