If you like authentic Italian cuisine (and who doesn't), then you should keep your eyes peeled the next time you're at your local grocery store for Angelos Old World Italian Sausage. The Argento family recipe goes back to the old country with Angelo Argento Sr., and has been made fresh in West Virginia since 1933.
Argento opened a small grocery store in Powellton, West Virginia, in the 1930s and made his family's authentic sausage for customers until the store closed in 2008. Now, Angelo's son and grandson are keeping the family tradition alive by making Angelos Old World Italian Sausage available again in a restaurant or grocery store near you.
