I have been on a personal journey as of late. I have been looking for the best Italian sub in the Chicagoland area. I have always had a favorite which was the Alpine Sub in Elmwood Park. I think I have found a new king of the best Italian sub in the Chicagoland area. The name of the sub shop is Serino Italian Deli in Addison.
The deli has been in business for over 22 years. It is a family run with all original recipes. The family prides itself on making a multitude of Italian specialties. The specialties include pasta, sandwiches, and pizza. All of the other items in this small deli looked delicious, but I was on a mission to try just their Italian sub. Their famous Italian sub consists of Mortadella, capicola, genoa salami, and provolone cheese. I personally like to also add hot Giardiniera.
