Family-run Italian restaurant Caterina's going strong after 41 years

Named for the woman who has had a hand in most of the recipes on the menu, Caterina’s Ristorante, 9104 W. Oklahoma Ave., has been a staple of the local dining scene since 1982. It’s always been a family restaurant, and since 2005 Tony Ingrilli has run the restaurant founded by his parents.

His first job at age 9 was washing dishes, and in the nearly four decades since then he’s done just about every job in the place. Ingrilli is hands-on and takes his parents’ legacy to heart. Most days you’ll still find him in the restaurant, often behind the host stand or bar talking to customers.
