Festa Italiana is accepting recipes in its second annual Chef's Choice Recipe Contest. Recipes for Italian appetizers are due June 15 and can be submitted by mail or email. A Festa food committee will select the top five recipes based on ease of preparation, creativity and appearance.

The five participants will be notified by mail and asked to present their appetizer before a live audience at 2 p.m. July 19 in the Cucina Showcase at Festa. The winner will receive the second Golden Spoon Award, along with other food-related prizes.
