One of the concerns for years regarding downtown Glencoe has been a lack of dining options, but an area businessman is hoping his experience in the restaurant world will change that perception.
Glenview entrepreneur Rick Raschillo is planning to open Cibo Trattoria with a focus on upscale Italian food. The new eatery will be at 667 Vernon Ave., the former location of the children-friendly Dewey's, which closed earlier this year. Raschillo's plan calls for the doors to open sometime in late May or early June.
